This Rosewood Mansion wedding was defined by a personal atmosphere with simple details that let the unique architecture shine through. Stroll through these photos to see the elegant results.

The Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek: An International Perspective

Imagine traveling from Europe to Dallas, and building a magnificent residence of your own. That is the story of Rosewood Mansion. Located in Uptown Dallas, construction on this Turtle Creek building began in 1908. Sheppard W. King and his family traveled across Europe in the 1920s accompanied by their architect. The sprawling property was heavily influenced by the Italian Renaissance, but King and his architect curated the impressive interior with collections and furnishings from places like Italy, Germany, England and Spain. The result is an opulent estate that beautifully embodies European elegance.

Details of this Dallas Mansion Wedding Venue

From the exquisite Mansion Garden to the chic ballrooms, the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek has an impressive array of settings for your wedding. Natasha and Jack held their ceremony in the Promenade room of this Dallas mansion wedding venue, which was filled with natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows.

But my favorite view in this Dallas mansion wedding venue has to be the Mansion Lawn. The Italian motifs and wide open space framed each portrait beautifully. Just look at those Roman-inspired columns!

Charming & Personal Touches

Natasha and Jack incorporated colorful and personality-filled details for their Rosewood Mansion wedding. Welcoming guests into the reception, the couple had a moss-adorned table with a collection of eclectic frames of their relationship, as well as some Texas-themed decor.

The intimate atmosphere of the day began with Natasha and Jack’s private vows at the Rosewood Mansion lawn. The tone was carried throughout the evening with their intimate last dance after the reception ended.
